The Port of Capri is the island’s main maritime gateway and is located in the Marina Grande district, part of the municipality of Capri. The port was built within a natural inlet on the side of the island facing the Gulf of Naples, sheltered from winds and strong waves. Two artificial piers further protect the harbor, which is divided into two areas: one reserved for tourist boats and fishing vessels, and the other dedicated to passenger ferries and the commercial area.
